Qatar Airways expands summer network
Qatar Airways continues to restore its international network and strengthens its schedule for summer 2026. The airline plans to serve more than 160 destinations worldwide, expanding connections through its Doha (DOH) hub, Hamad International Airport.
For passengers, expansion means more travel options and better connections between Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and Oceania. Qatar Airways has gradually resumed operations to numerous destinations and announces the return of flights to 26 cities in key global markets.
In Africa, in addition to the route to Port Sudan scheduled for July 2, the company will return to fly to Kigali, Seychelles and Marrakech, offering new options for leisure travel and international connections via Doha.
In the Americas, it restores connections with Caracas, Bogotá and Philadelphia and strengthens some routes in the United States. In view of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, of which it is the official partner company, frequencies to host cities such as Boston, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco are also increasing.
In Asia and the Asia-Pacific area, flights to destinations such as Adelaide, Auckland, Osaka, Tokyo Haneda, Almaty, Baku, Tashkent, Tbilisi and Yerevan resume. Tokyo Haneda will increase from four to seven weekly flights from August 1.
In Europe , the network is also strengthened with the return of connections to Belgrade, Brussels, Budapest, Düsseldorf, Helsinki, Lisbon, Oslo, Prague and Zagreb. Helsinki will increase from four to seven weekly flights from 1 August.
The travel experience revolves around the Doha hub, where passengers can take advantage of the services of Hamad International Airport, Qatar Duty Free and the Privilege Club loyalty programme, to collect and redeem Avios. On board, Qatar Airway is also focusing on connectivity: more than 140 aircraft in the fleet are equipped with Starlink, with Wi-Fi available for Premium and Economy class passengers and speeds of up to 500 Mbps per aircraft.
