Emirates flies to Shenzhen and, via Bangkok, to Da Nang and Siem Reap

Airline expands global network with new routes to connect China, Vietnam and Cambodia
Emirates continues its expansion in Asia, introducing three new destinations to its global network: Shenzhen (China), Da Nang (Vietnam) and Siem Reap (Cambodia). Starting July 1, 2025, the airline will become the first in the Middle East to operate daily direct flights to Shenzhen, a key city for innovation and technology in China. In addition, from June 2025, four weekly flights to Da Nang and three weekly flights to Siem Reap will be launched, both connected via Bangkok, thus expanding connectivity for travelers to Vietnam and Cambodia.

Shenzhen: Emirates' new Chinese hub
Emirates' arrival in Shenzhen represents a further step in the strong partnership between the UAE and China, which began in 2002 with the first flight between Dubai and Shanghai. Shenzhen thus joins the company's other three Chinese gateways: Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
The schedules have been designed to ensure optimal flight connections to and from Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. Flight EK328 will depart Dubai at 10:05 a.m., landing in Shenzhen at 10:00 p.m. The return, EK329, will take off from Shenzhen at 23:55, arriving in Dubai at 03:40 the following day.
In addition to passenger traffic, the expansion in Shenzhen represents a strategic opportunity for cargo transport. The city is a hub for technology and electronics manufacturing, and its integration into the Emirates SkyCargo network will allow the transport of around 10 tonnes of cargo per flight, strengthening trade ties between China and the Middle East.
Flights to Shenzhen will be operated with the retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER, equipped with the new Business Class and Premium Economy, offering First Class with 8 private suites, 40 seats in Business, 24 in Premium Economy and 260 in Economy Class.

New flights to Da Nang and Siem Reap via Bangkok
Emirates is strengthening its presence in Vietnam with the introduction of four weekly flights to Da Nang, which becomes the third Vietnamese destination served after Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Flights will depart Dubai on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with a stopover in Bangkok.
Similarly, the company introduces three weekly flights to Siem Reap, the second destination in Cambodia after Phnom Penh. Departures from Dubai will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, always with a stopover in Bangkok.
These new routes are optimized to ensure smooth connections to major European and American cities, including London, Paris, Amsterdam, Milan, Rome, New York and Los Angeles. Both flights will be operated by the two-class Boeing 777-300ER, equipped with 35 seats in Business Class and 386 in Economy Class.

Premium travel experience and new opportunities for passengers
Travellers to Shenzhen, Da Nang and Siem Reap will enjoy Emirates' renowned hospitality, with culinary offerings inspired by local traditions and ice-board entertainment with more than 6,500 channels, including content in Mandarin, Cantonese and Khmer.
In addition, those flying via Bangkok will be able to enjoy Emirates' newly expanded premium lounge, for an exclusive pre-departure experience.
With 24 codeshare and interline agreements, the airline offers an extensive integrated network, allowing passengers to combine multi-destination travel between Dubai, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. With 269 weekly flights to 24 destinations in East Asia, Emirates reinforces its role as a leader among non-Asian airlines in the region.

Flight connections via Dubai
Dubai can be used to reach international destinations in Emirates' network, such as Bangkok, Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur and other major cities in Asia and the Indian Ocean, expanding travel options.
