Emirates expands A350 network with new destinations
For the summer, the airline includes seven new destinations on the new aircraft: Amman, Baghdad, Dammam, Ho Chi Minh City, Istanbul, Oslo, Tunis and from 1 June also Bologna
Emirates has announced the addition of seven new destinations to its Airbus A350-operated network, as new aircraft equipped with the latest cabin innovations enter service. The airline thus expands the list of medium and short-haul destinations served in the Middle East, GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council: Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman) and Europe, with the debut of the A350 also in Africa and Southeast Asia.
Emirates Airbus A350 destinations
From the summer, Emirates' Airbus A350 will operate on the following routes:
- Tunis: six weekly flights from 1 June (every day except Tuesdays) on EK 747/748.
- Amman: daily service from 1 June on EK 905/906.
- Istanbul: first flight on July 1 with daily operation on EK 117/118.
- Dammam: A350 debuts in Saudi Arabia from 1 July on EK 827/828.
- Ho Chi Minh City: first route to Southeast Asia from 1 August with EK 364/365.
- Baghdad: three weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday and Sunday) from 3 August on EK 941/943.
- Oslo: The first A350 in Norway will be operational from 1 September on the EK 159/160.
Emirates plans to announce additional A350 destinations, including long-haul routes, in the coming months.
In addition, the carrier will boost A350 flights to Bahrain and Kuwait.
- From 1 June, Bahrain will be almost entirely served by the A350 with the addition of the third daily flight EK 835/836.
- From 1 October, a second A350 will be deployed on the Kuwait route (EK 857/858).
Bologna will also welcome the A350 for the first time on 1 June, bringing forward the scheduled date by a month.
Airbus A350 di Emirates
Emirates' Airbus A350 offers three cabin classes with a total of 312 seats: 32 next-generation seats in Business Class with a 1-2-1 configuration and personal minibar, 21 seats in Premium Economy and 259 in Economy with ample legroom. On board, passengers can enjoy advanced technologies, including wireless charging in Business Class, electric curtains with Ghaf tree pattern, touchscreen buttons for service calls, 60W USB-C ports and Bluetooth connectivity for two simultaneous audio devices. The innovative ice entertainment system includes ultra-responsive touch screens with 4K and 4K HDR quality, ensuring an unprecedented on-board experience.
Flight connections via Dubai
Dubai can be used to reach international destinations in Emirates' network, such as Bangkok, Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur and other major cities in Asia and the Indian Ocean, expanding travel options.
