Emirates-Bahamasair agreement for flights to the Bahamas

An interline partnership has been signed to connect the Bahamas with a stopover in Florida (from Miami or Orlando): single ticket, luggage included and new synergies also on cargo and loyalty programs

Emirates and Bahamasair have formalized the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to initiate an interline partnership that will improve accessibility to The Bahamas for passengers from around the world.

The agreement allows Emirates to expand its network in the Caribbean, offering its customers the opportunity to continue their journey from Miami or Orlando to three key destinations in the archipelago – Nassau, Freeport and San Salvador – thanks to the collaboration with the national carrier of the Bahamas.

The unilateral agreement model provides numerous advantages for travellers: it will be possible to purchase a single ticket for the entire itinerary, including Emirates and Bahamasair flights, with extended baggage allowances also on regional flights.

The cities of Miami and Orlando, directly connected by Emirates with daily flights (Boeing 777) and five weekly frequencies respectively, are confirmed as strategic gateways for the company's American network, which now has over 140 global destinations.
