Air Astana boosts connections with the Middle East
New flights from Atyrau to Dubai and from Astana and Almaty to Abu Dhabi from autumn 2024
Air Astana expands its presence in the Middle East with the introduction of new flights from Atyrau to Dubai, operating from 26 October 2024, and flights from Astana and Almaty to Abu Dhabi, starting from 30 October and 12 December 2024 respectively. These new flights reflect the growing demand for business and tourism travel between Kazakhstan and the Middle East.
The new connections, which will be operated twice a week with Airbus A321neo and Airbus A321LR, are in addition to the existing 20 weekly flights from Almaty and Astana to Dubai and the six weekly flights from Almaty and Shymkent to Saudi Arabia.
The flight from Atyrau to Dubai will operate on Mondays and Saturdays with a flight time of approximately 4 hours, while the flight from Astana to Abu Dhabi will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays with a flight time of 5 hours and 10 minutes. Finally, the flight from Almaty to Abu Dhabi will be operated on Thursdays and Sundays with a duration of 4 hours and 55 minutes.
Economy Class round-trip tickets start at USD 396 for the Atyrau-Dubai route and USD 375 for connections from Almaty and Astana to Abu Dhabi, while Business Class fares are USD 1,236 and USD 1,535 respectively.
Abu Dhabi and Dubai are both destinations full of tourist attractions: from the Sheikh Zayed Mosque and Louvre Abu Dhabi to Yas Island, to the iconic Burj Khalifa and luxury resorts.
