Sainsbury's opens at Manchester Airport

Manchester Airport expands its passenger services with the opening of the airport's first Sainsbury's Local. The store is located in the Arrivals area of Terminal 3 and is open 24 hours a day, offering a practical solution for both those returning from a trip and those preparing for departure.

Manchester thus becomes the third British airport to host a Sainsbury's store, after Edinburgh and London Luton.

Shopping and essential products after the flight

The new store offers a selection of products designed for quick purchases: ready meals, snacks, drinks, meal deal offers and useful items for the home and kitchen.

The location in the Arrivals area allows passengers to purchase groceries and necessities immediately after landing, avoiding an additional stop before returning home.

The store can also be used by departing Travellers who wish to purchase essential products before check-in.

Argos and Habitat Order Pickup

Among the most useful services is the possibility of ordering products from the Argos and Habitat brands online and picking them up directly at the airport point of sale.

Passengers can then place an order during their stay and retrieve it upon return, or reserve items needed for travel in advance and pick them up before departure. The service allows you to access thousands of products without having to go to another store.

The renovation of Terminal 3

The opening is part of the redevelopment programme for Terminal 3 at Manchester Airport (MAN). A new sports bar with over 400 seats has already been inaugurated in the departure hall during the year, while the Italian restaurant Terracotta is also scheduled to open.

The terminal was also expanded after the closure of Terminal 1, incorporating part of the spaces previously used by the structure.
