Lindt brings "Tokyo Style" to Geneva Airport

Premium launch with tastings and 100 personalized bars: matcha enters the chocolate and becomes a travel experience

Matcha, the absolute protagonist of food trends in recent years, takes a step further and lands in the world of chocolate with a launch designed to amaze.

The new Lindt Tokyo Style Matcha Strawberry bar was presented at Geneva airport, a limited edition that combines Swiss chocolate art with Japanese inspiration, playing on elegance, innovation and contemporary taste.

Created by Lindt Maître Chocolatiers, the bar focuses on a delicate and contemporary balance: Lindt white chocolate, Chamei Minami-grade ceremonial matcha, fruity notes with strawberry pieces and a toasted touch given by Genmai rice (with a slightly nutty, elegant and persistent profile).

It is, in practice, a perfect "gastronomic souvenir": light to carry, immediate to give as a gift, and above all linked to a precise moment of the trip.

More than just a novelty on the shelf, the arrival of the bar was built as a real moment of experience for Travellers: dedicated tastings to discover the new recipe, a warm and festive setting in line with the season and a surprise that turned the launch into something truly memorable.

For the occasion, 100 personalized tablets with the names of the passengers were created, available exclusively during the event: a detail that made the purchase immediate, but also emotional and "to remember".

The initiative, organized in collaboration with Lindt & Sprüngli Global Travel Retail, is a clear example of how travel retail is evolving: not just iconic products, but premium activations that combine discovery and personalization.
