Air Force FW26/27, between heritage and new languages

Tailoring, streetwear, layering and Travel Wear reinterpret the aeronautical heritage for the contemporary woman

With the FW26/27 Women's collection, Aeronautica Militare translates its heritage into a series of different but complementary stylistic universes, designed to interpret the different attitudes of the contemporary woman. Functionality, femininity and elegance meet in a wardrobe that ranges from the most decisive and graphic proposals to tailoring, from streetwear to urban utility garments.

Iconic graphics, distinctive patches and aviation details define the most statement part of the collection, while tailored cuts, knitwear in fine yarns and structured outerwear build a more refined image. Coordinated tracksuits, technical sweatshirts and plays of volumes accompany a dynamic everyday life, while oversized bomber jackets, relaxed denim and utility jackets reinterpret the military code in a metropolitan key.

Layering at the heart of the season

One of the main themes of FW26/27 is layering, intended as a tool to build modular and personal looks. Overlaps, measured volumes and material combinations allow silhouettes to transform naturally depending on the context.

In this tiered construction, fur takes on a central role on vests and outerwear and also appears for the first time in footwear. Knitwear uses chenille, merino and cashmere blends, declined in crew neck and half zip with perforated logos. The garment dyed characterizes satin, knitting and gabardine, while the Milano stitch defines a more informal tailoring.

Denim is offered in blue and black versions and introduces a new finish with marble treatment. The palette favors enveloping shades such as off white, beige and chestnut brown, flanked by accents of willow green, olive and midnight blue, which recall nature, sky and aeronautical imagery.

Travel Wear, the capsule dedicated to movement

The season also introduces Travel Wear, a new capsule designed for those who live between travel, dynamic rhythms and new destinations. The proposal focuses on comfort, resistance and versatility, while maintaining an essential and contemporary aesthetic. The central element is the packable jacket in crease-resistant nylon, available in a short or long version and capable of folding on itself, thanks to an integrated zip, transforming into a travel bag. The capsule is completed by a sports suit, a suit designed to remain impeccable even after hours in the suitcase and a cotton and cashmere T-shirt.

With the FW26/27, Aeronautica Militare thus builds a wardrobe capable of moving between different contexts and languages, maintaining the relationship between aeronautical heritage, functionality and versatility as a common thread.
