Fiamma Diletta Cremonese on display at the Difstore Art Space in Milan Bergamo Airport

"Where are you running from?" brings together nine works on the body, waiting and passage, on display until November 28, 2026

From 10 October to 28 November 2026, Difstore Art Space at Milan Bergamo Airport hosts "Where are you running from?", a solo exhibition by Fiamma Diletta Cremonese, an artist born in Bassano del Grappa in 2002 and now active in Milan. The exhibition, curated by Maria Lucrezia Corno, is located immediately after security checks and represents the third appointment in the program dedicated to emerging artists.

After Bianca Bona's Marks & Multitudes and Charlie Ben's Emotions in Motion, the new project once again brings contemporary art into the passenger journey, in a space crossed every day by thousands of Travellers.

Nine works on the body, waiting and passage
The exhibition stems from Fiamma Diletta Cremonese's research on the human body as a container, an apparently empty space but capable of welcoming experience, identity and life. The figures are often reduced to essential silhouettes, traced in black on a white background or left to emerge from raw linen. Around them appear arches, thresholds and rooms, elements that build suspended and almost metaphysical environments.

Titles such as Where? and Solo? introduce open-ended questions that find a particularly coherent context in the airport. Departures, waits, journeys and destinations thus become part of the dialogue between the work and the viewer.
A total of nine works are on display, made with different techniques: painting on linen canvas, prints on plexiglass and acrylic on glass. The itinerary also includes Stillness (of heart), four canvases of 50 x 50 cm format and the two glasses of What remains, created specifically for this exhibition.

An emerging artist between Bassano del Grappa and Milan
Fiamma Diletta Cremonese was born in Bassano del Grappa in 2002. After the Steiner school, where she developed a first artistic approach to research on the human being, she moved to Milan to attend the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. She has already exhibited at the Galerie Annette De Keyser in Antwerp, with the exhibition I am/Heart together with Francesco Russo in 2022, and at the Spazio BIG Santa Marta in Milan with Riflessi in 2025.

Difstore Art Space continues the program dedicated to young artists
Difstore Art Space thus continues its calendar of exhibitions within the new difstore at Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY), with the aim of offering visibility to young artists in an unconventional and highly frequented travel retail context. The space also accepts spontaneous applications. Due to exhibition characteristics, only two-dimensional works can be submitted. Applications can be sent to marialucrezia.corno@gmail.com.
