Eataly at Turin airport in the renovated boarding hall

New spaces on two levels, more accessible services and a 530-square-meter Eataly beyond security checks

Torino Airport expands and reorganizes the boarding hall, introducing new commercial spaces and services distributed on two levels. The new escalator directly connects the gate area with the upper departures floor, making it easier to access areas that have been little used until now and improving passenger flows after security checks.

The intervention transforms the previous configuration, concentrated mainly on a single floor, into a larger and more integrated system. The redesign also affected the retail area, with more visible, consecutive and better inserted points of sale along the path to the gates.

Eataly opens beyond the controls

The main novelty is the new Eataly catering point, built with Avolta on the upper departures level on an area of about 530 square meters. The space includes a small market with Eataly brand products, a refrigerated grab & go corner, an area dedicated to chocolates and a 310-square-meter area with quick service and restaurant. A total of 156 seats are available.

The offer includes coffee, sandwiches, pizza alla pala, splits and dishes inspired by Italian cuisine and Turin tradition, designed for different times of the day. Here passengers can choose between a cafeteria where they can enjoy Eataly coffee and a restaurant that will offer the great classics of Eataly.

The new sign enriches Turin Airport's catering offer and reinforces the quality of the food & beverage proposal available beyond security checks, in line with the new layout of the boarding hall.

More waiting services

The upstairs balcony also houses a Fun & Game Area, the renovated Baby Lounge , a smoking terrace, a Working Area, new toilets and more comfortable spaces for staying before your flight.

At the gate level, the restyling involved 10 brands and about 1,150 square meters of commercial space. On the upper floor, another 480 square meters have also been created for passengers and airport operators, including 90 square meters of toilets, more than doubled.

An intervention linked to the growth of the airport

The renovation is part of the airport's development program, launched to adapt spaces and services to the growth of traffic in Turin. In the first six months of 2026, Turin Airport welcomed almost 2.9 million passengers, an increase of 17.3% compared to the same period in 2025. For those departing from Turin Airport, the new configuration therefore offers more choice to eat, work or relax, as well as more functional routes between security checks and gates.
