 SUMMER 2024 CONNECTIONS      
From Milan Bergamo, fly to 146 destinations in 39 countries
Milan Bergamo Airport is gearing up for a summer season in 2024 filled with new and exciting travel opportunities. With the introduction of the summer flight schedule, passengers will have a choice of 169 national and international connections, offering a wide range of destinations to meet the needs of all travelers.
 
Twenty-two airlines will operate from the airport during the summer. Among these, several exciting new additions further enrich the flight offerings. Aeroitalia, for instance, has introduced a new route to Perugia, while Eurowings is now offering direct flights to Hanover. Lumiwings includes Foggia as one of its accessible destinations, and Norwegian has launched new routes to the Norwegian cities of Bergen and Stavanger.
 
Ryanair, one of the airport's major operators, will further expand its network with new destinations including Beni Mellal in Morocco, Biarritz in France, Castellón de la Plana in Spain, and Sarajevo in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
 
This extensive selection of destinations and connections makes Milan Bergamo Airport a strategic hub for those looking to explore new horizons, whether for business or pleasure. The variety of accessible destinations and the presence of numerous airlines ensure that every traveler can find the perfect flight for their needs.
 
In addition to direct flights, the airport offers flights with an intermediate stop of 1 or 5-3 hours. By using flydubai and stopping over at Dubai International (DXB), it is possible to continue to destinations such as Australia (Sydney), Southeast Asia (Jakarta, Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Thailand), South Asia (Delhi, Mumbai, Sri Lanka, Maldives), China (Beijing, Shanghai), and other destinations in the Middle East and Africa (Muscat, Jeddah, Mombasa, Zanzibar, Johannesburg). Other airlines like Air Arabia UAE and Pegasus Airlines offer additional long-haul connections through intermediate stops such as Sharjah and Istanbul.

New route to PERUGIA
BGY welcomed, Monday 25 March, the inaugural flight operated by Aeroitalia, which left San Francesco Assisi airport, Perugia, carrying on board a delegation from the Umbria Region, led by the regional president Donatella Tesei.
 
The Aeroitalia ATR-72, which received the traditional water salute from the Fire Brigade of Orio al Serio, was welcomed by the vice-president of SACBO, Fabio Bombardieri, the executive councillor for Infrastructure for the Lombardy Region, Claudia Maria Terzi, and the director of Commercial Aviation for SACBO, Giacomo Cattaneo.
 
The new route is served by daily flights leaving Perugia at 7.15 a.m. and arriving at Milan Bergamo at 8.05 a.m. Return flights depart at 7.25 p.m., landing in Perugia at 8.15 p.m.

New route to HANOVER
Hanover, the capital of the German state of Lower Saxony, is the latest destination in Germany to join the Milan Bergamo Airport network.
 
On 6 May 2024, the Eurowings airline, already present with flights to Düsseldorf since November 2021, inaugurated the first flight.
 
Eurowings, a low-cost airline of the Lufthansa Group, has chosen to start the connection with two weekly frequencies, increasing it to four in September.

New route to FOGGIA
The Lumiwings airline inaugurated the connection between the "Gino Lisa" airport of Foggia and Milan Bergamo on 2 April 2024.

The flights, operated with an Embraer 190 aircraft with 118 seats, run twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, favouring both business passengers and those travelling for tourism or personal reasons.
 
Flights take off from Foggia at 5.20 p.m. and will arrive in Milan Bergamo at 6.50 p.m., to then take off once again at 7.35 p.m. and land at the “Gino Lisa” airport at 9.05 p.m.

The new routes of NORWEGIAN 
Norwegian Air Shuttle inaugurated flights to Tromsø on January 16, connections to Oslo and Bergen on March 28, and the Bergamo-Copenhagen route on March 31, which includes four weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday).
 
Starting May 18, 2024, Norwegian Air Shuttle flies to Stavanger in southwestern Norway on Wednesdays and Saturdays, until September 30.
 
Finally, from 2 June the company adds a new connection to Helsinki, served three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday).
