Sanlorenzo 58Steel: the tailor-made superyacht that anticipates the future
Sanlorenzo marks a new step in its evolution with 58Steel, heir to the famous 57Steel and the result of an innovative path that has lasted for 15 years. With a new generation diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system and a completely redesigned concept of spaces, this superyacht (signed by Zuccon International Project for the exterior) embodies the brand's vision: elegance, proportion and technology at the service of the owner of the future.
A new reference in the Steel line
When Sanlorenzo launched its first steel superyacht in 2010, it defined a model of style and engineering that transformed the entire segment. Today, the Steel range is among the most iconic under 2,000 GT. With 58Steel, the brand elevates this legacy even further: one meter longer than its predecessor, but above all much more versatile thanks to a new platform and a beam expanded to 10.8 meters.
Diesel-electric hybrid technology now enables zero-emission sailing, greater efficiency and a level of silence that redefines on-board well-being in the 55-60 metre range. Although inspired by the 57Steel, the new model is a total revolution: it offers interior volumes comparable to a 64-metre and introduces an unprecedented level of customisation.
The spaces are designed for superior superyacht comfort: two full-beam VIPs on the lower deck, a VIP Supreme on the main deck, a fully dedicated owner's deck, with panoramic suite, private pool, office, dressing room and a lounge that can be converted into a cinema. At the stern, the tri-lateral beach club opens onto the sea with a bar, hammam, gym and beauty salon, creating an environment devoted to quiet, light and a continuous relationship with the water.
Tailor-made interiors: precious materials and quiet
The interiors, designed by the Sanlorenzo Style Department, celebrate Italian craftsmanship with noble materials: dark woods, Calacatta Borghini marble, mother-of-pearl, champagne finishes. Each room reflects a studied balance between comfort, light and proportions.
The VIP Supreme is reminiscent of a real owner's suite, while the main salon opens onto an infinity pool, creating visual continuity between interior and exterior. The owner's deck, conceived as a private residence, integrates spas and large glass surfaces that dissolve the boundary between yacht and horizon.
Exterior design: sculpture on water
The exterior lines, defined by a pure architectural language, reflect Sanlorenzo's distinctive approach: steel as a material to be sculpted with measure, not excess. The bridge deck, extended by one meter, improves aesthetics and functionality, while the trilateral beach club remains one of the iconic elements of the yacht.
The first yacht in the 58Steel series, Perla Lunar, has been sold by Arcon Yachts, a historic Monegasque company with over 25 years of experience in superyacht brokerage.
