The new precious Guerlain Bee Bottle
Every Christmas, Guerlain renews the tradition of its legendary Rendez-Vous, events that celebrate the art of haute perfumery with Exceptional Creations: limited-edition masterpieces that combine savoir-faire, poetry and splendor.
For this season, the Maison has chosen to collaborate with artist and sculptor Géraldine Gonzalez, known for her ability to transform light into living matter. In his works, handmade in his Parisian atelier, precious materials such as metal, mother-of-pearl, crystal and glass beads come together in a play of transparencies, reflections and iridescent brightness.
His creations, inspired by the Baroque and imbued with fantasy, stand out for the balance between artistic flair and functionality, evoking the poetic grace of an enchanted garden. The artist, who has collaborated with some of the most prestigious fashion houses, signs new creations for Guerlain this year, focusing his vision on the iconic Bee Bottle, to which he gives new luminous ornaments.
The 1-liter version of the famous Bee Bottle is transformed into a work of art: a majestic crescent moon in gilded metal, decorated with three stars and 24-carat gold-plated glass beads, envelops the bottle as if in a celestial embrace. The bottle is placed on a mirrored base, which reflects and amplifies the light of the transparent pearls, creating an effect of pure brilliance.
The result is a precious and theatrical object, an objèt d'art that captures the magic of moonlight. The legendary Bee Bottle thus shines in a new enchanted edition, limited to only 64 numbered pieces.
To celebrate Shalimar's centenary, Guerlain has created a unique piece, combining Géraldine Gonzalez's golden moon with a 1.5-liter bottle of the Maison's signature fragrance: a tribute to the eternity of a legendary perfume and the dialogue between art and light.
In the Imagine Exceptional Rendez-Vous collection, the artist reinterprets the 125 ml Bee Bottle by enriching it with a metal moon embellished with a star of glass beads that reflect the light with sparkling flashes. This refined and poetic edition is available in 3,665 numbered copies. Guerlain's Imagine fragrance completes the work with a trail that dances between floral and woody notes, blending delicate luminosity and magnetic intensity. A composition that combines elegance, mystery and the timeless magic of dreams, transforming every drop into pure emotion.
