Antonio Marras between fashion and music

The Fall Winter 2026/27 campaign intertwines tailoring, floral embroidery and memory with "Rosa Amaranto", the first original song written by the designer and performed by Giaff

With the Fall Winter 2026/27 campaign, Antonio Marras once again expands the boundaries of his creative language and, for the first time, brings music directly into his narrative universe. In fact, accompanying the images of the season is "Rosa Amaranto", an original song written by Marras and performed by Giaff, protagonist of the same campaign and an integral part of the project.

Marras' Fall Winter 2026/27 develops around the relationship between memory and contemporaneity. The archetypes of tailoring are reworked through contrasts of materials, proportions and workmanship, while masculine constructions meet more fluid and enveloping volumes.

Pinstripes, structured fabrics, leather and printed surfaces overlap, building silhouettes in which rigor and lightness coexist without clear separations. Memory is not reproduced in a nostalgic way, but transformed into matter of the present.

The rose becomes the sign of the collection

It is above all embroidery that builds the visual identity of the season. Roses and ramages emerge from the surfaces, cross transparencies and material inserts, are enriched with applications and reflections until they transform the sartorial construction into an almost three-dimensional texture. The floral motif constantly changes scale: it can be minute and delicate or expand to become a graphic element, intervening on jackets and silhouettes through variations in color and texture.

The rose also crosses lace, lace, velvets, damasks and brocades, declining in shades of purple, powder, carmine and burgundy. It is at the same time romantic and wild, fragile and intense, and becomes one of the main elements of connection between the collection and the musical project.

The palette builds the same play of contrasts. The deep tones of burgundy and black are flanked by ecru, aquatic blues and lighter shades. Sartorial precision thus meets the richness of ornamentation, while masculine and feminine, structure and transparency overlap continuously.

Accessories also enter this story. The Caragol bag is offered in a special embroidered edition, on which the rose motif directly echoes that of the garments. The floral decoration follows the surface of the accessory and emphasizes its sculptural shapes, creating visual continuity with the wardrobe.

From poetry to music

It is from the same rose that "Rosa Amaranto" was born.

The title encompasses two different tones and two different characters: the delicacy of pink and the depth of amaranth. The project took shape from a first composition in verse written by Antonio Marras, initially conceived as poetry and later developed together with Giaff. From the words, a sound direction made up of syncopated rhythm and intimate, suspended and mysterious atmospheres gradually emerged. Giaff transformed that first poetic nucleus into music, identifying on the guitar the rhythm on which the song would then take shape. The text builds almost cinematic images: rose petals left in the places of secret meetings become the traces of a hidden sentimental story, kept away from sight.

The creative process then proceeds through a continuous exchange. Marras brings images, suggestions and words; Giaff seeks a metrical and musical structure capable of accommodating them. Choral harmonizations, drums and percussion progressively accompany the composition until the text is transformed into a real soundscape. Memory, desire, images and acoustic matter thus end up belonging to the same atmosphere that accompanies the campaign video.

A new creative language

With "Rosa Amaranto", music enters for the first time directly into Antonio Marras' research. Not as an added element to the campaign, but as an additional tool through which to tell the same imagery that runs through the clothes: the memory that changes shape, the overlapping of languages, the encounter between rigor and romanticism.

Fall Winter 2026/27 thus becomes a broader project than just the collection. Fashion, embroidery, poetry, images and music contaminate each other, building a story in which each language retains its own identity but contributes to the same atmosphere.

A passage consistent with a research that continues to move between different disciplines and which, this time, finds a new narrative possibility in sound: transforming a story without losing its essence.
