Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie 2025 in Monte-Carlo
Co-founded by the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer group and Jean-Philippe Braud, president of Profirst France, the Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie was created with the aim of becoming an essential cultural and creative event in the international ultra-luxury calendar. It celebrates savoir-faire, contemporary creation and dialogue between all the souls of the sector, promoting values of responsibility, transmission and cultural influence.
On Saturday 25 October, the legendary Salle des Étoiles at Sporting Monte-Carlo hosted an extraordinary evening. The inaugural edition of the Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie brought together the greatest international Maisons – Anna Hu, Boucheron, Bulgari, Chanel, Chopard, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Martin Katz, Messika, Tiffany & Co. – represented by their executives, muses and ambassadors. With them, independent designers, collectors, master craftsmen and representatives of gem-producing countries. All together to pay homage to high jewellery as a form of art, culture and economic heritage.
The evening was opened by Stéphane Valéri, Vice-President of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, and Jean-Philippe Braud, co-founders of the Grand Prix, who expressed their emotion and gratitude at seeing the most influential figures in the sector brought together in a single setting for the first time.
Among the guests were Bogolo Kenewendo, Minister of Mines and Energy of Botswana; Caroline Scheufele, co-president and artistic director of Chopard; Frédéric Grangié, CEO of Chanel; Nathalie Verdeille and Thierry Vasseur of Tiffany & Co.; Ludovic Watine of Dior Couture; Marie-Noëlle Barrère of Bulgari; Giuseppina Cannizzaro of Dolce & Gabbana, together with fashion and film icons such as Eva Herzigová, Isabelle Huppert, Natalia Vodianova, Cindy Bruna, Pansy Ho and Lady Kitty Spencer.
Michelin-starred chef Marcel Ravin has created a menu designed as a sensory journey inspired by the savoir-faire of the world's master jewellers. During the dinner, thirty-three exceptional creations chosen by the Maisons paraded among the tables, after having been exhibited in the previous days in the boutiques of Monaco and at the Café de la Rotonde, home to an exhibition open to the public.
The exhibition, the first of its kind in the Principality, attracted thousands of visitors, invited to vote for their favourite jewel: more than 20,000 people participated via app and website, confirming the ability of high jewellery to arouse emotion and wonder.
The jury, chaired by contemporary high jewellery expert Fabienne Reybaud and made up of professionals from design, fashion and gemology, unveiled the prizes of the Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie 2025:
