The evolution of the Bugatti Home Icon Collection
Ten years after the beginning of the collaboration between Bugatti and Luxury Living Group, Bugatti Home celebrates a milestone that goes beyond the anniversary and tells the evolution of a precise vision: to bring the DNA of the automotive maison into a new dimension of living, where art, form and technique dialogue naturally within the universe of luxury.
Since the start of the project, this idea has guided the construction of a collection in which craftsmanship, innovation and performance coexist in a coherent balance. Today, ten years after its debut, Bugatti Home presents itself as a consolidated presence in the high-end interior landscape, capable of translating the brand's language into a sophisticated and recognizable domestic experience.
Milan Design Week has become the ideal stage for this new phase, which takes shape through an evolution of the Icon Collection, presented for the first time in 2016. To celebrate its tenth anniversary, the collection is reinterpreted through a new material language that enhances one of the brand's symbolic materials: carbon fiber. The new bronze and burgundy finishes expand the expressive potential of this technical material, introducing warmth, depth and a more sophisticated perception of the surface, without sacrificing the precision that has always defined its identity.
Among the pieces reinterpreted in this new key are the Ettore bureau and the Ettore office chair, now offered in bronze carbon fiber, while the Royale armchair is presented in an intense burgundy shade. In each element, structure and surface merge continuously, creating a refined dialogue between technological advancement and craftsmanship culture.
Alongside the reinterpretation of the historic collection, Bugatti Home introduces a new proposal destined to mark this phase of the brand: the modular sofa TYPE_21. Designed as a tailor-made system, the project focuses on flexibility, comfort and customisation, offering compositional freedom that goes beyond the usual customisation programmes. The generous proportions and the strong architectural presence define a furniture of great impact, articulated through linear modules, corners and poufs.
Reinforcing its character is a movable backrest, which makes the seat more adaptable and allows different configurations of use, while the down-filled cushions introduce a tactile softness that balances the formal strength of the whole. The project is complemented by sartorial details such as hand-finished stitching and the embroidered "EB" logo, as well as a leather band integrated into the armrest that discreetly recalls the codes of the Bugatti world.
This evolution is part of a path of international growth that, from 2016 to today, has led Bugatti Home to expand its presence in the main global markets, from the first single-brand boutique in Dubai to Paris and the Bugatti Home Atelier in Milan.
In Milan, on the first floor of Palazzo Chiesa in Corso Venezia 36, the Bugatti Atelier is confirmed as the most coherent place to tell this vision. Conceived as an immersive space, its rooms reflect an idea of contemporary living in which materials, shapes and atmospheres build a unified narrative. The level of customization offered by the Atelier also echoes the bespoke approach that Bugatti applies to its hypercars, transferring it consistently to the world of interiors.
Bugatti Home's vision aims to build environments that are not only aesthetically distinctive, but capable of evoking emotion through the convergence of design, technology and lifestyle. The design philosophy behind the collection expresses the value of a legacy that, from the artistic legacy of Carlo Bugatti, continues to influence the brand's identity today.
