Elie Saab Maison's vision of living
On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, ELIE SAAB Maison unveils the new 2026 collection through "The Milanese House - A Night in Milan", an immersive installation inspired by the cinematic language of Milan in the seventies.
The project is conceived as a real Milanese home after sunset: a space to be perceived rather than observed, built as a succession of rooms that open up like fragments of a private story. The design is not simply exhibited, but experienced, within a narrative made up of light, sound and atmosphere.
Developed under the creative direction of architect Carlo Colombo and in close collaboration with Mr. Elie Saab, the collection conveys a vision of living in which architecture and intimacy coexist harmoniously. At the heart of the project is a precise balance between Italian craftsmanship and Mediterranean sensibility, between rigor and softness, structure and sensuality, in a contemporary interpretation of interior design that reworks the sophisticated charm of Milan in the seventies.
For Mr. Elie Saab, an interior must first and foremost tell a story and generate emotion through materials, light and atmosphere. From this idea comes a collection that combines glamour, warmth and a subtle baroque sensibility, while maintaining a timeless figure. Each element is designed to contribute to a complete and expressive way of living, in which each piece asserts itself as an autonomous presence and as part of a coherent whole.
According to Carlo Colombo, the collection develops as a dialogue between form and function: each piece of furniture has a strong identity but fits naturally into the overall space. The project thus focuses on versatile compositions, defined by proportions, materials and high-level manufacturing. The ELIE SAAB Maison universe is therefore enriched in a coherent way, without interrupting the already recognizable language of the brand, but expanding it with new elements capable of further strengthening its identity.
Among the main pieces, the MASCAGNI sofa stands out, which stands out for its scenic presence, pleated upholstery and generous proportions. The MANZONI sofa, modular, offers a variety of configurations and combines upholstered volumes, leather and metal with a strong imprint of Italian manufacture. The ROYAL BYBLOS reinterprets the iconic BYBLOS of the first collection, one of the brand's best sellers, in a more monumental key, through large, balanced and high-impact volumes.
The dining area revolves around the ATLAS table, designed for large-scale environments where conviviality and design meet. Presented with the distinctive VOLO motif, the table expresses sophisticated research on materials and remarkable executive quality. Dialoguing with it is the ORIZZONTE screen, a large-scale scenographic element, characterized by antiqued mirror surfaces that multiply depth and reflections. The NOBILE desk combines marble, leather and refined details in a rigorous and sophisticated composition, while the MUSA bed defines the sleeping area with balanced proportions and measured elegance.
At the center of the collection is also the ONDA armchair, introduced within the Collector's Series. Its identity stems from the fluid structure and the dialogue between upholstery and burnished base. The same series also includes the LOBSTER armchair, proposed in a limited edition olive green dégradé finish, which further enhances its iconic silhouette and enveloping shape.
Material research remains one of the central axes of the entire collection. Fabrics such as bouclé, wool and fine wool, entirely selected and processed in Italy, express a strong tactile quality and are enhanced by a Mediterranean-inspired palette, composed of olive greens, cinnamon tones and deep natural tones. Metals also participate in this narrative with sophisticated finishes, from burnished tones to a distinctive nocturnal blue, capable of giving character and depth. The marbles, including Camouflage Marble and Lepanto Green, are the result of careful research and are chosen for their tonal richness and unique veins. This continuous dialogue with Italian artisans results in a collection in which every detail contributes to the coherence and overall value of the whole.
The vision also extends to a complete lifestyle thanks to a series of targeted collaborations. The kitchens and cabinets made with SCIC integrate perfectly into the language of the collection; the Sahrai carpets transform textures and colors into tactile surfaces; the home décor objects developed with Giobagnara complete the environment through a refined layering of materials and details.
The concept of a Milanese home enriched by the warmth of Lebanese hospitality, returns an even clearer and more distinctive expression of the brand, consolidating ELIE SAAB Maison in the luxury interiors sector that offers the highest standards of design and craftsmanship to interpret the home as a timeless expression of elegance, lifestyle and contemporary refinement.
