Materiality and craftsmanship in Bentley Home design

The new furniture collection - a range of elegant tables, armchairs, sofas and trunks - is characterized by tactility, durability and reduced environmental impact

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, Bentley Home presents the new furniture collection, a chapter that marks a clear and refined evolution of the brand's design language. The proposal expands the domestic extension of the Bentley Motors universe, transferring to the home those principles of luxury, precision and quality that have always defined the identity of the British automotive maison.

The collection is developed around a renewed focus on materiality, comfort and craftsmanship, with a selection of tables, sofas, armchairs and a trunk that interpret luxury in a more measured and contemporary way. At the heart of the project is a more sophisticated and constantly evolving palette of materials, accompanied by a growing sensitivity towards sustainability. Rooted in the Italian manufacturing tradition, the new pieces represent a further step in the construction of Bentley Home's global identity.

One of the most important aspects of the collection concerns the research on finishes. The brand introduces solutions developed to reduce environmental impact without sacrificing depth, visual richness and perceptive quality. Natural resins are combined with hand-applied shellac lacquers, through a layered process that enhances the way in which surfaces reflect and absorb light. The result does not aim at the scenographic effect, but at a more subtle refinement, built according to an almost architectural approach to the material and durability.

The same attention is found in the fabrics, another backbone of the collection. The materials, sourced from local supply chains and made from natural fibers, include wool, alpaca, cotton, linen and mohair velvet jacquards. The goal is to create a sensory landscape made up of discreet comfort and tactile quality, where each surface is designed to acquire character over time. It is an idea of luxury that is not afraid of the aging of the material, but rather considers it part of its value.

The collection is the result of a dialogue between designers Carlo Colombo and Federico Peri and the Bentley Motors Design Team, according to a collaborative model that continues to distinguish the Bentley Home project. The result is a coherent whole but rich in nuances, where architectural clarity is accompanied by increasing softness, both in the shapes and in the overall perception of the rooms.

Among the new pieces, the Embrace sofa, designed by Carlo Colombo, reinterprets the brand's Ramsey line with a more fluid and enveloping presence. The outer shell entirely covered in leather marks a decisive departure from the visual centrality of wooden veneers, returning a more continuous, light and contemporary silhouette. The proportions have been lightened to reduce visual weight, while maintaining structural precision and a strong feeling of home comfort.

The Embrace armchair translates this same language into a more compact dimension. Its identity stems from a curved and protective outer shell and a calibrated balance between leather and upholstery. The more controlled geometry and reduced scale reflect the brand's desire to move towards more versatile and less massive interiors.

With the Continuum chair, Bentley Home introduces a more transparent approach to design. The open structure reduces mass while maintaining solidity and constructive integrity, allowing light and space to pass through the object. Some details discreetly recall the aerodynamics of the Bentley automotive universe, while the numerous customization options (from veneers to leather and fabric combinations) expand its use in both residential and high-end contract.

To complete the story of the collection, other pieces explore new expressive possibilities. Dovedale coffee tables work on the dialogue between veneered wood and marble, accentuated by the iconic bevelled detail typical of the brand, offering further room for customization. Designed by Federico Peri, the Brimham ottoman introduces softer and more organic shapes, inspired by natural landscapes, and stands out for a "saddle" leather element that enhances both function and durability.

The Porter trunk , on the other hand, reinterprets the heritage of classic travel in a contemporary key, transforming it into a multifunctional storage element. More essential and compact, the Nest bedside table responds to the same evolution towards lighter environments, combining clean architectural lines and the material richness that distinguishes Bentley Home.

It is a luxury that favors comfort, authenticity of materials and value in the long term, for interiors less tied to effect and more attentive to substance. A quieter, more tactile luxury built to last.

Founded 13 years ago, Bentley Home now has over 60 stores worldwide, with flagship stores in Milan, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dubai, Shijiazhuang, Xi'An, Nanjing and Shanghai. The collection is also present in cities such as Paris, Istanbul, Al Rayyan, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City and Dallas.
