The core value of Palau, "omengull", meaning respect for all and everything, aligns deeply with the values of Four Seasons. Upon arrival, one is immediately immersed in one of the world's most unique cultures, founded on tradition and respect. It's an exciting paradise for those seeking harmony with nature and the opportunity to learn and embrace the unique lifestyle of this land. Palau can be explored with the privileges offered by Four Seasons Explorer, true adventures with various boarding options to choose from.

The Palau archipelago spans over 600,000 square kilometers of the Pacific Ocean and is home to over 1,400 species of fish and 500 coral species. In 2009, it became the world's first shark sanctuary, and the southern lagoon of Rock Islands is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The astonishing variety of marine life makes Palau an exceptional destination for swimming, snorkeling, and diving.

Among the most fascinating diving spots are Chandelier Cave with stalactite formations, Helmet Wreck, a World War II shipwreck, Blue Corner with rich gorgonian fans, and the canyons of Peleliu Wall. Extraordinary snorkeling experiences include guided tours by marine biologists in Jellyfish Lake, home to millions of harmless jellyfish; Clam City with giant 115-kilogram clams; and Ngedebus Coral Gardens, where schools of colorful fish and turtles swim in crystal-clear waters.

Palau's unique cultural heritage is tied to a deep respect for the environment. Land excursions provided by Four Seasons Explorer, guided by experts, include visits to the country's oldest bai (community meeting house); the stone monoliths of Badrulchau, estimated to date back to 161 BC; rock paintings on Ulong Island; and the National Museum of Belau. Other activities include traditional dance performances, exploration of lush forests, and visits to majestic waterfalls.

Given its remote location, Palau is ideal to be experienced in combination with other Oceania destinations. Palau's international airport, located on the main island of Koror, is accessible via Taipei, Honolulu, Guam, Manila, and Brisbane, making it ideally positioned to explore Australia, the Philippines, Taiwan, and other Oceania islands like Yap, Chuuk, and the Federated States of Micronesia.
