Signature Aviation expands into Costa Rica
Signature Aviation, the world's largest network of private aviation terminals and services, has announced a further strengthening of its presence in Costa Rica with the introduction of two new operating destinations and an exclusive strategic partnership with Aerologística, the country's leading aviation services provider and a key local partner in the development of Signature's activities in the area.
The local Signature team, in coordination with Aerologística, will offer full services at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) and Tobías Bolaños International Airport (SYQ). Operations are designed to accommodate all permitted aircraft types including private jets and ensuring high standards of safety, operational efficiency and premium hospitality, hallmarks of the Signature experience for business and VIP passengers.
In addition, Signature Aviation announced the construction and operation of a new General and Commercial Aviation (G&BAT) terminal at Guanacaste International Airport (LIR), Liberia, with an expected opening in 2026. This facility will further strengthen Costa Rica's attractiveness as a go-to destination for high-end business and leisure traffic, particularly to the tourist areas of the Pacific coast.
Guanacaste Airport's new private terminal will feature a modern architectural design and a luxurious terminal that will enhance Costa Rica's natural beauty within its infrastructure. The opening of the facility is scheduled for 2026 which will be managed by Signature in partnership with Aerologística.
