Partnership between Signature Aviation and Sixt for European private aviation
Sixt strengthens its presence in the major international premium travel corridors thanks to a new strategic partnership with Signature Aviation, the world's largest network of private aviation terminals. The agreement, which in the initial phase involves over 30 Signature locations in Europe, represents a further step in the brand's international growth and expands its positioning within the luxury mobility ecosystem.
With this collaboration, Sixt's premium services enter directly into Signature Aviation's European network of private terminals, making the transition from flying to ground mobility even smoother. Vehicle bookings will be coordinated primarily through Signature Aviation, and at participating locations, Sixt will deliver the cars to the terminal or airport facility, while Signature will take care of the final delivery to the customer.
For the guest, the experience has been designed to ensure continuity and discretion at every stage of the journey. Where permitted, the vehicle can be delivered directly to the access ramp, offering an immediate transfer from the aircraft to the car. This is complemented by access to the Sixt premium fleet, which includes high-end sedans and SUVs, as well as flexible, long-term rental formulas through Sixt+.
The offer also includes one-way rentals between private aviation terminals and commercial airports, a particularly interesting solution for those who combine business aviation and scheduled flights in the same trip. The service is complemented by dedicated assistance and priority treatment for regular customers.
The integration of private aviation and premium mobility responds to a demand increasingly oriented towards coordinated, personalized and seamless services. The partnership kicks off with 31 locations in Europe and some locations in North America, including some of the most relevant private traffic hubs. The United Kingdom includes London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester and Edinburgh. In Italy, Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Rome Ciampino, Venice and Naples are involved. In France, Paris Le Bourget and Nice are included, while in Germany Munich is included. The network also includes Athens, Heraklion and Thessaloniki in Greece, Geneva and Sion in Switzerland, as well as Dublin and Shannon in Ireland.
