BLL Airport


Billund Airport is located north-east of the town of Billund, in Denmark. It is one of the most important cargo airport in the region and operates charter and scheduled flight.
Billund Airport opened in 1964 in an old hangar with a single control tower and a runway of 1660-metre. Today Billund Airport has a passenger terminal of 40,000 m2, which is designed to handle 3.5 million passengers a year. The airport offers easy access from and to the world, with routes to over 100 international destinations.

Transportation to/from the airport
Billund Airport is served by public buses. Many of the busses are connecting the airport with train stations in Vejle, Give, Esbjerg, Skanderborg and Aarhus.
Shuttle Bus
Free Billund airport shuttle bus to and from the terminal. The shuttle bus is requested by stopping it at stops and at the terminal.
Proceed towards the southeast on Passagerterminalen and take Route 30 towards 28/Strada Grindsted / Esbjerg / Road 425/Ribe. Journey time approximately 10 minutes.
Taxis are available at the arrivals, which are available at each destination. On the website of the airport there are more than ten taxi companies.
Car hire
The main car rental companies present in airport are: Avis, Budget, Hertz, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt. 
Hotel near Billund Airport
Zleep Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the airport and offers 24-hour check-in. The hotel is connected to the airport's Terminal 4 by shuttle bus and is located and a 5-minute drive from Legoland.
