New Centurion Lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

In 2026, the first American Express lounge in the Netherlands, inspired by local art and style, will arrive in Amsterdam and will occupy over 550 square meters between Terminals E and F

American Express has announced the opening of a new Centurion® Lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), scheduled for 2026. It will be the first airport lounge owned by a global credit card operator within the Dutch airport, the fourth busiest in Europe. With this project, the Centurion network will reach 30 lounges around the world, strengthening the brand's presence in the main international hubs.

The space, located between Terminals E and F, will occupy over 550 square meters and will feature a contemporary design with references to Dutch aesthetics and culture: color palette inspired by the canals of Amsterdam, works by local artists, large windows for natural light and a gastronomic selection based on the country's culinary tradition.

At the heart of the lounge's style will be the concept of "gezellig", the unmistakable Dutch feeling of cosiness and well-being. A dedicated café will celebrate the cultural importance of coffee in the Netherlands, offering travellers a convivial space to relax.

As in the other Centurion Lounges, guests with an Eligible Card in Amsterdam will also have access to premium services: high-end cuisine and bar, individual workstations, relaxation areas, free Wi-Fi, numerous electrical outlets and USB ports.

In addition to Centurion Lounges, Eligible Card Members have access to Escape Lounges, Delta Sky Club® (when flying with Delta), Priority Pass™ Select (upon membership), Plaza Premium, select Lufthansa Lounges and other partner lounges.

In addition to Amsterdam, new openings are planned in 2025 in Tokyo (Haneda HND) and Salt Lake City (SLC), and in 2026 at Newark Airport (EWR), continuing a strategic expansion plan in the main international airports.

Schiphol, one of the most connected airports in Europe

It is one of the two European hubs for Air France-KLM and SkyTeam and is operated by the Royal Schiphol Group, a Dutch airport operator with operations abroad. Schiphol is a key asset for the Dutch economy and for international traffic on the continent.
