Air France renews the La Première lounge in Paris-CDG
Air France has completely renovated the La Première lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport, introducing new spaces dedicated to rest, work and well-being. Located in Terminal 2E, the lounge is reserved for passengers travelling in the La Première cabin and aims to make it more comfortable to wait before departure or during a connection.
The space, spanning over 1,000 square meters, has been redesigned by Air France together with MARKS Brandimage to offer greater privacy. Armchairs, sofas, niches and dividers create more intimate environments, while warm-toned materials and softer lighting help to make the atmosphere intimate and relaxing.
The project completes the new La Première airport experience launched in 2024 and coordinates with the latest on-board suites installed on some of the French airline's Boeing 777-300ERs.
Reception and catering in the La Première lounge
At the entrance, passengers are greeted by the AF001 ambient fragrance, created for Air France by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.
At the center of the lounge is the new restaurant area, expanded with more tables and in-seat service. The menu, signed by Alain Ducasse and his teams, features French cuisine, seasonal vegetarian dishes and the chef's iconic recipes.
Among the proposals are the coquillettes with ham and black truffle and the babà with rum or Armagnac. The dishes are accompanied by a selection of wines and champagnes curated by Xavier Thuizat, Air France's chief sommelier, along with grands crus chosen by Alain Ducasse's teams.
In 2025, the La Première lounge's food service was awarded by Skytrax for the best dining experience in a First Class lounge.
New rooms for sleeping and working
The relaxation area has been redesigned as a quieter and more private area. Passengers can use new individual rooms equipped with a cot, duvet and pillows, which are especially useful during long connections or before a night flight.
A new work area has also been created, with dedicated workstations and a private booth for phone calls, video conferences and confidential conversations.
The furnishings also include the Ribbon armchair by French designer Pierre Paulin, while a selection of photographs traces the history and identity of Air France.
Larger Sisley Spa and New Treatments
The Sisley spa in the La Première lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport has been expanded with a second treatment room. Passengers can choose personalized wellness programs based on the time available before departure or between two flights.
The treatments use products and protocols from the French brand specializing in phytocosmetology and are designed to prepare the body for travel, promote relaxation or reduce the effects of long-haul flights.
Contemporary art in the lounge
Air France will continue to exhibit a work by an international artist in the lounge, renewing the installation every six months. On the occasion of the reopening, a Wonder Block by French artist Jean-Michel Othomiel was chosen. The work, created in shades of amber and Indian pink, recalls the shape of a column or a totem and becomes one of the central elements of the new environment.
Private suites next to the lounge
Air France La Première passengers can also book three private suites of 45 square meters, located next to the La Première lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. Two suites can be joined on request to accommodate families or groups who want more space. Each suite includes a living room, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom and an outdoor patio. Guests are welcomed with champagne and Sturia caviar and can order the menu designed by Alain Ducasse directly in the suite. The suites are designed for those who want to rest, dine or wait for their flight in complete privacy, without giving up the services available in the main lounge.
