The flight to Milan Linate returns to Foggia airport with Aeroitalia

From 12 January, the strategic connection between Puglia and the city airport of Milan has been restored

Aeroporti di Puglia has announced that Aeroitalia has obtained the necessary authorizations to operate at Milan Linate airport. Following the green light issued by Assoclearance, the company will be able to start flights from 12 January, respecting the frequencies previously assigned to another carrier.

The restoration of the connection represents a key step for the mobility of the Province of Foggia and for the entire Capitanata area, restoring direct access to one of the most strategic airports in the country for business and institutional traffic. The route strengthens connectivity between northern and southern Italy, reducing distances and improving travel opportunities for citizens, businesses and administrations.

The return of Aeroitalia's flight to Milan from Foggia confirms the regional commitment to ensuring efficient and functional connections for economic and social development.

The 'Gino Lisa' airport of Foggia serves the city of Foggia and a large basin that includes territories of Irpinia, Molise and the province of Potenza, as well as the Capitanata, the second largest province in Italy. An area rich in tourist, cultural and religious resources, from the Gargano to the Dauni Mountains, up to San Giovanni Rotondo.
