The Bari-Nantes flight resumes

The flight is available from 9 April and will be operated by the airline Transavia with two weekly frequencies, every Thursday and Sunday, until 22 October 2026

From 9 April 2026, Bari Karol Wojtyla Airport will be connected to Nantes thanks to the new flight operated by Transavia, which expands the international network of the Apulian airport and responds to the growing demand for connections between Puglia and France.

The service provides two weekly frequencies, every Thursday and Sunday, until 22 October:

  • Thursday: departure from Nantes at 4:50 pm, arrival in Bari at 7:20 pm; departure from Bari at 20:05, arrival in Nantes at 22:50.
  • Sunday: departure from Nantes at 6:40 am, arrival in Bari at 9:10 am; departure from Bari at 9:55 am, arrival in Nantes at 12:40 pm.

The connection will be made with one of Transavia's 40 Boeing 737-800s (189 seats) or with one of the 7 new Airbus A321neos, which offer 232 seats, guaranteeing passengers comfort and a modern and efficient travel experience.

Nantes-Atlantique Airport (NTE), located less than 15 km from the city centre, can be easily reached in about 20 minutes by shuttle bus, bus, tram or taxi.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Nantes is known as the "Venice of the West" for its many canals. The French airport is ideal for discovering the Pays de la Loire, Brittany and Normandy, with iconic destinations such as Mont Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo.

"The resumption of the connection announced in 2019 and suspended due to Covid is an important sign of resilience and the great work we are carrying out. The restart responds to a growing demand to and from France, a key market for our international network," said Antonio Maria Vasile, President of Aeroporti di Puglia on the occasion of the relaunch of Transavia's flight to Bari Airport (BRI).
