New Delta Air Lines flight from Milan Malpensa to Boston
Delta Air Lines expands its offer from Italy with the launch of the new direct connection between Milan Malpensa and Boston Logan International Airport, operational from Saturday, May 24, 2025.
The flight, available four times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday departing from Milan; Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Boston), joins the already active routes from Milan to New York-JFK and Atlanta.
The new route allows customers to not only conveniently reach the U.S. East Coast, but also onward to numerous domestic and international destinations with connections via Delta's Boston hub.
Comfort and technology on board
The flight will be operated with a 281-seat Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, configured with four classes of service: Delta One Suites (private suites with sliding doors, fully-flat seats, recyclable linens, seasonal gourmet menus and Taittinger champagne, Missoni amenities); Delta Premium Select (wider seats, increased recline and premium service); Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin (affordable comfort and entertainment with over 1,000 hours of content through Delta Studio).
In addition, on board, free Wi-Fi and Delta Sync high-speed, powered by T-Mobile.
Lounges and ground services
For an exclusive pre-flight experience, Delta has opened new Delta One Lounges in Boston, New York and Seattle. The one in Boston, over 2,000 m² in size, pays homage to the city's maritime tradition with a careful design and excellent gastronomic offerings.
Summer 2025: Delta Boosts Flights to and from Italy
During summer 2025, Delta will operate up to 110 weekly flights between Italy and the U.S., including the following connections:
- from Milan: Boston, New York-JFK, Atlanta
- from Rome: New York-JFK, Boston, Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis
- from Venice: New York-JFK, Atlanta
- from Naples and Catania: New York-JFK and Atlanta.
Delta's flights to/from Boston will be operated in a joint venture with Air France - KLM, further expanding connectivity for European customers.
"In the Summer 2025 season, Milan Malpensa will serve about 200 destinations with direct flights, with a capacity growth planned by long-haul carriers of more than 18%, the highest increase among major European airports," specified Luigi Battuello , Chief Commercial Officer of SEA Aeroporti di Milano.
