New connection between Milan Bergamo Airport and Kuwait City

The first Italian airport to welcome the airline Jazeera Airways, the route will have a three-weekly frequency (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) starting from 20 May

The opening of the new connection of the airline Jazeera Airways with Milan Bergamo Airport was announced today in Kuwait City, starting from 20 May. 

 

With Kuwait, the list of countries directly connected with Milan Bergamo for the summer season increases. The route will be operated three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) with Airbus 320neo in a 174-seat configuration.

The announcement of the new route took place during a press conference convened by Barathan Pasupathi, Chief Executive Officer of Jazeera Airways, and attended by Amelia Corti, General Manager of SACBO, Giacomo Cattaneo, Commercial Director Aviation, Marketing & Communications, and Dario Nanna, Commercial Aviation Manager of the management company of Milan Bergamo Airport.
 
As specified by Amelia Corti, General Manager of SACBO, "The opening of the new route extends the network even further towards emerging markets, characterized by a mutual desire to weave relationships and help create new opportunities in both destinations. The launch of the connection with Kuwait City represents a historic milestone for Milan Bergamo airport, which is preparing to welcome passenger flows as well as generate them towards the new destination. We are confident that the collaboration with Jazeera Airways will be fruitful and will determine a significant tourism, cultural and commercial expansion in both directions".

 

While, for Giovanni Sanga, President of SACBO, "It is the signal of a progressive expansion of connections to geographical areas of great interest from a socio-economic, entrepreneurial point of view and educational and cultural exchanges. We have had proof over the years of how much and how the new destinations have been able to trigger a movement of people attracted by the advantages offered by direct flights".
