Christmas Market at Munich Airport
A magical winter village for the holidays with gifts, mulled wine, delicacies, the ice rink and visits from Santa Claus at the airport to pay homage to gifts
From November 15 to December 31, 2024, the Munich Airport Center (MAC) Forum is once again transformed into a magical winter village. Every day, from 11 am to 9 pm (except Christmas Eve, when it will close at 4 pm), the Christmas and winter market welcomes travelers and visitors with an enchanted atmosphere, among fir trees and stalls.

This year, the focus is on the little ones in particular: every Tuesday is Family Day, with special discounts at all family exhibitors. Among more than 40 stands, visitors can find gifts, mulled wine and winter delicacies. The heart of the market is, as always, the ice rink of over 600 square meters, which also houses a curling lane.
Accompanied by his angels and the Krampus, Santa Claus visits the airport on four occasions, handing out sweets and gifts to children on November 23 and, of course, December 6. In addition, in the "Santa Claus House" he tells Christmas stories on November 30 and December 14.

The market offers a rich entertainment program: every Wednesday evening, from 6 pm, it is possible to skate during the Ice Disco, while from Thursday to Sunday the evenings are animated by live performances of jazz, pop and gospel. In addition, for the first time, it is possible to participate in a creative workshop, where young and old can decorate cups, plates and various ceramics. The courses are free, you only pay for the chosen ceramic objects.

Also this year there is no shortage of light bus tours through Munich airport, lasting about 50 minutes and bookable online on the official website. The remaining seats are available at the 'Lichterfahrten Hut' at the Munich Airport Center. Visitors are provided with free three-hour parking in the P20 car park, using a QR code available on market leaflets and the airport website.
