Wizz Air launches "My Journey"
Wizz Air's 'My Journey' is the new feature of the official WIZZ app designed to give passengers complete and instant control over their journey.
"My Journey" allows you to monitor every step of the journey in real time directly from your smartphone. Passengers will be able to check flight status, receive instant assistance in case of disruptions, redeem benefits such as meals or hotels, and choose from alternative options in case of cancellations or delays.
Key features include:
- Real-time updates on check-in, boarding, gates and schedules
- Instant view of eligibility for refunds, meals, or accommodations
- Direct redemption of the benefits available from the app
- Autonomous management of alternative options: flight change, refund or acceptance of proposed solutions.
The rollout of the new feature will begin on 8 July 2025, with the aim of simplifying the airport experience and offering tailored assistance, both for those who fly regularly with Wizz Air and for those travelling for the first time.
"My Journey" is an integral part of the Customer First Compass initiative, which drives the company's commitment to constantly improving the customer experience. Wizz Air will invest €14 billion over the next three years to strengthen punctuality, quality of service and accessibility, making technology and innovation at the heart of every flight.
