Volotea at school
After last year's great success, Volotea is back with the second edition of "Tutti a Bordo!", the initiative dedicated to Italian primary schools that combines education, geography and active citizenship through the language of travel. The airline that connects small and medium-sized European cities thus renews its commitment to the world of education, transforming each lesson into an adventure capable of stimulating curiosity and imagination.
For the 2025-2026 school year, 1,000 classes will be involved in six Italian regions – Veneto, Tuscany, Campania, Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia – which will receive a free playful-educational kit designed for children aged 6 to 11.
Flying in class
The project, carried out in collaboration with Neways, a company specializing in educational communication, provides for the free sending of paper and digital materials for a multidisciplinary path between geography, civic education and English language.
Through games, interactive worksheets and CLIL activities, students will explore five broad themes:
- travel, as an experience of growth and discovery;
- etiquette of the little traveler, to learn the good practices of flying;
- plane and airport, to learn how the world of aviation works;
- Italy, to be rediscovered through curiosities and activities in the area.
At the end of the course, the classes will be able to participate in a creative contest, putting into practice what they have learned. Up for grabs, Volotea travel vouchers for students and teachers, along with a stationery kit.
A successful first flight
The first edition of Tutti a Bordo! of Volotea involved over 25,000 students and 1,000 teachers throughout Italy, gathering great enthusiasm from north to south. The winner of the last edition was the 5th class of the "Baseggio" Comprehensive Institute of Venice, with the artistic work "Italy, a work of art", inspired by the cultural heritage of the country.
