Transavia's Dating Chairs

For singles, meetings at the airport and on board and award travel to a network destination for passengers who choose to depart together

Transavia launches Dating Chairs, an original format dedicated to singles that transforms the plane – a symbol of new adventures – into the stage for a first romantic encounter. The initiative comes to life on the company's iconic green seats and is inspired by the great success of a previous ironic campaign (April Fool's Day) that had conquered the public, so much so that it has now become a real program of appointments.

The format, presented by Julia Heetman, follows short blind dates in which participants get to know each other by experiencing situations typical of the airport travel experience: from check-in to passport and baggage checks, with spontaneous conversations and authentic moments. Each episode culminates with the final decision: leave together or not.

If the spark is sparked between the two, the couple receives the opportunity to continue their journey to a destination in the Transavia network, turning the meeting into a true shared experience.

The program is open to singles residing in the Netherlands, who can apply via the official website transavia.com/datingchairs. The episodes will be published during the spring on the company's social channels. Selected participants, who must be 18 years of age or older and available on Saturday 21 March, will receive a Transavia travel voucher worth €100 for a flight and any extras, while participants who wish to get to know each other better at their destination will receive an additional Transavia travel voucher worth €400.

Transavia thus combines entertainment, emotion and the spirit of travel, offering passengers not only a special encounter, but the real opportunity to take off together to a new destination
