To Sharm el Sheikh and Marsa Alam with Wizz Air
The ultra-low-cost airline's flights to Egypt for the new routes from Rome Fiumicino to Marsa Alam airport and from Catania to Sharm el-Sheikh
Wizz Air has announced the opening of two new international routes that will connect Italy with Egypt. Starting in October, it will be possible to fly from Rome to Marsa Alam and from Catania to Sharm el Sheikh, further expanding the company's network.
The flights will be operated using the state-of-the-art aircraft of the Airbus A320 family. The new routes are testament to the airline's commitment to two of its main Italian bases, Rome and Catania.
Marsa Alam
Overlooking the Red Sea coast, Marsa Alam is famous for its stunning dive sites, vibrant marine life, and striking desert landscape. Scheduled flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, starting from 29 October to and from Rome Fiumicino "Leonardo Da Vinci" airport.
Sharm el-Sheikh
This popular Red Sea resort is known for its clear waters, coral reefs, and excellent diving opportunities. Flights will depart on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 29 October to and from Catania International Airport.
Flights to these new destinations from Rome and Catania are available for booking on Wizz Air's official website and via the airline's mobile app.
