The Comiso-Barcelona flight with Vueling starts again
Vueling, an airline part of the IAG (International Airlines Group), announces the return of the Comiso – Barcelona El Prat route, introduced for the first time during the 2024 summer season. It is the only direct air connection between the Sicilian airport of Comiso and the capital of Catalonia.
Starting from July 4, 2025 and throughout the summer, flights will operate twice a week, on Fridays and Sundays, offering convenient access to the city of Barcelona for residents and tourists of the Ragusa area.
With this connection, Vueling further strengthens its presence in Sicily, where it already operates direct flights from Palermo (up to 13 weekly frequencies) and Catania (up to 12 weekly frequencies).
The flight from Comiso thus represents a third strategic option to reach Barcelona from the south-east of Sicily, expanding the accessibility of the island to one of the most popular European destinations for travellers.
