Second edition of the Volotea Travel Photo Awards
A particular light, a street full of history or a face that tells the story of a city: every journey has a story to immortalize in a photo. With this spirit, Volotea, the airline that connects small and medium-sized European cities, launches the second edition of the Volotea Travel Photo Awards, the international photo competition that invites travelers and photographers to tell the beauty of travel through their shots.
After the success of 2024, with over 17,000 images received, the 2025 edition looks even more ambitious, thanks to an international jury of experts, prestigious awards and a strong invitation to visual creativity. Registration is open from 3 July to 10 September 2025.
"We want to continue to celebrate the creativity of our passengers and pay homage to the cultural and identity richness of the cities we fly to. We are looking for images capable of revealing the unexpected and telling what usually escapes a simple postcard: an authentic gesture, a street rich in history, a light that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary," said Sandra Rikić, Volotea's Communications Director.
Two categories to tell the journey from every perspective
Amateurs: open to all photography enthusiasts.
Prizes: €1,000 in Volotea flights, a Fujifilm digital camera, a TropicFeel backpack.
The 5 finalists will receive a €150 Volotea voucher.
Professionals: dedicated to photographers who want to express the depth and emotion of travel.
Rewards: one year of free flights with Volotea, a 3-night stay in one of its destinations, a Fujifilm professional camera.
The 5 finalists will receive a €250 voucher.
To participate, you must upload a photo taken at a Volotea destination (or within 50 km of the airports served), accompanied by a title and a short description telling the story.
