Ryanair rewards a passenger with 500,000 euros
A holiday in Krakow ended with a life-changing win. Ryanair has announced the winner of the annual "Win A Million" 2026 charity draw, linked to the solidarity scratch card program sold on board, which this year awarded a cash prize of 500,000 euros.
The winner was Helen Swindells, a long-time Ryanair customer in Liverpool, who had purchased a €2 Ryanair Charity Scratch Card in May 2025, during a flight from Krakow to Liverpool. The purchase, made to support a charitable cause, allowed her to qualify for the annual 'Win A Million' event, organised by Ryanair at Slane Castle, County Meath, Ireland, on Wednesday 13 May.
The scratch card was purchased for the benefit of the British charity Naomi & Jacks, an independent organisation that provides specialist care to more than 600 seriously ill infants, children and young adults. Naomi & Jacks is one of 13 European charities supported by Ryanair's Charity Scratch Card programme.
For passengers, the initiative combines the possibility of contributing to solidarity projects with the chance to win important prizes. In fact, the program includes cash prizes of 10,000 euros, a car, credit to be used on board Ryanair flights and the possibility of accessing the annual draw of the main prize "Win A Million".
