From 26 October 2025, flights between Bergamo and Chisinau will be operated four times a week while the Bari-Chisinau route will be active from 28 October with a frequency of three weekly flights
Wizz Air is expanding its network with two new routes that will connect Bergamo (BGY) and Bari (BRI) to Chisinau (RMO), the capital of Moldova. As of October 26, 2025, flights between Bergamo and Chisinau will be operated four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). From 28 October 2025, the Bari - Chisinau route will have three weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).
The cultural heart of Moldova, Chisinau is a charming and authentic city, perfect for those looking for a destination off the beaten track. With tree-lined boulevards, green parks, and a vibrant cultural scene, the Moldovan capital offers a relaxing atmosphere and a mix of tradition and modernity. Wine lovers will find true excellence in Moldova: the famous underground cellars of Cricova and Milestii Mici, among the largest in the world, offer exclusive tours and tastings of fine wines. Also not to be missed is the historic center, with the Cathedral of the Nativity and the Monument to Stephen the Great, symbols of the city. The local gastronomy captivates with traditional dishes such as mămăligă (Moldovan polenta) and plăcintă (stuffed pastry).
