New Milan Linate - Gran Canaria route with easyJet
Flights from 26 October, with weekly frequency on Sundays. The number of destinations served by the airline from the city airport rises to 22
EasyJet announces the opening of a new connection between Milan Linate and Gran Canaria, available for booking from 18 March, with flights operating from 26 October. The connection will be weekly, every Sunday.
This new route represents an excellent opportunity for those who want to escape the winter cold without leaving Europe. Gran Canaria, in fact, is famous for its mild climate all year round, with ideal temperatures even in the coldest months, perfect for those who dream of golden beaches and crystal clear sea even in winter.
Departing from Milan Linate Airport makes the journey even more convenient, offering passengers an ideal option for autumn long weekends and winter holidays. In addition to beautiful coastlines and turquoise waters, Gran Canaria offers unique experiences for nature lovers and adventure seekers, with hiking trails in the Tamadaba Natural Park and spectacular views from Pico de las Nieves, the highest point on the island, from which you can also admire Teide, the imposing volcano of Tenerife.
In addition to the scenic charm, the island offers a rich cultural and gastronomic tradition. During the winter, historic villages such as Teror and Tejeda come alive with traditional markets, folklore events and tastings of local specialties, such as the famous queso de flor and the fine rum of Gran Canaria.
With the introduction of this new route, easyJet is further expanding its winter network, offering travellers more opportunities to plan their holidays in advance and take advantage of the festive season for a break in the sun. Gran Canaria becomes the 22nd destination served by easyJet from Milan Linate, including 17 new routes operational from 30 March, coinciding with the opening of the new easyJet base. With Gran Canaria, which joins Tenerife, the number of routes to the winter sun available from Milan city airport rises to two.
