New Comiso-Lille flight with Volotea
As of April 8, 2025, the connection is available every Tuesday from Comiso Airport
A new airlift between the South-East of Sicily and the capital of French Flanders. Volotea, the airline specializing in connecting small and medium-sized European cities , announces a new international route that strengthens connections between Sicily and Northern Europe. From 8 April 2025, it will be possible to fly every Tuesday from Comiso airport to Lille, the capital of French Flanders. The new route will offer a total of over 10,400 seats, creating a significant opportunity for the tourism and cultural development of the region.
This international connection represents a great opportunity for the South-East of Sicily, one of the most fascinating areas of Sicily. French visitors can easily reach the Ragusa area to immerse themselves in an area rich in history, culture and natural beauty. The baroque heritage of cities such as Ragusa, Modica and Scicli, the enchanting beaches, the nature reserves and the ancient villages are just some of the wonders of the trip.
The new Comiso-Lille flight is not only an opportunity for French tourists, but also represents an important step in the development of the Sicilian airport system. SAC, the company that manages the airports of Catania and Comiso, thus strengthens connections with Europe by strengthening the role of Comiso airport as a strategic hub for international mobility.
