New Bergamo-Jeddah flight
From 1 July 2026, flyadeal inaugurates the new direct connection between Milan Bergamo Airport and Jeddah, one of the most important cities in Saudi Arabia. The seasonal route is already on sale on the company's official website, with three weekly flights available in July, August and September 2026.
The new Bergamo-Jeddah flight expands travel opportunities for passengers departing from Lombardy and Northern Italy, offering a direct connection to a strategic destination in the Middle East. Jeddah is a port city overlooking the Red Sea and is one of the main access points to Saudi Arabia. For many travellers it is also a gateway to the sacred cities of Mecca and Medina, thanks to the strategic location of King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED), the airport that serves the city.
For those traveling for tourism, Jeddah offers a different and interesting face of Saudi Arabia. The city combines the historical dimension of Al-Balad, the old quarter with traditional houses, markets and coral architecture, with the more modern part of the Corniche, the promenade on the Red Sea with promenades, leisure spaces, restaurants and panoramic views of the coast.
The direct connection from Bergamo may be of interest to both leisure passengers, attracted by the discovery of a Saudi destination, and business travellers heading to one of the country's main economic hubs. With the new Bergamo-Jeddah flight, flyadeal strengthens connectivity between Italy and Saudi Arabia, while Milan Bergamo Airport adds a new non-European destination to its network. The low-cost airline of the Saudia Group also offers flights from Bergamo to Riyadh.
