easyJet launches cheap flights to Cape Verde
EasyJet opens a new era in connections between Italy and West Africa with the first direct flight from Milan Malpensa to the island of Sal, in the Cape Verde archipelago. The new connection, operating every Wednesday and Saturday, offers Italian travellers comfortable and convenient access to an exotic destination so far little served by scheduled flights.
The route represents the only direct flight between Northern Italy and Cape Verde and is part of easyJet's strategy to expand travel opportunities to medium-haul leisure destinations, with fares starting from 69 euros.
The island of Sal, one of the most famous and loved of the Cape Verdean archipelago, conquers with its golden beaches, crystal clear waters and mild climate all year round. It is an ideal destination for those seeking relaxation, water sports and local culture, with evenings punctuated by the engaging rhythm of morna, the traditional music that tells the soul of Cape Verde.
easyJet thus expands the exotic destinations that can be reached directly from Milan, offering a perfect alternative to Travellers looking for sun and sea even in the winter months.
The Cape Verde route joins other new destinations in the 2025 winter season, including Luxor, Strasbourg and Seville, bringing the total destinations reachable from Milan airports to 52.
