easyJet: 20 years of flights to Olbia
easyJet celebrates 20 years of activity at Olbia Costa Smeralda airport, confirming itself as a strategic partner for the connectivity of Sardinia and for the development of international tourism on the island. Since the first flight landed from Berlin in 2005, the airline has carried more than 11 million passengers, strengthening its role in the north of the region year after year.
For summer 2025, easyJet is confirmed as the first carrier on Olbia, with a capacity of over 1 million seats and a network of 16 active routes to and from Italy and five other European countries. The offer includes strategic connections for incoming tourism and the mobility of residents, making northern Sardinia even more accessible.
The summer network is enriched with two new international routes:
- Olbia–Edinburgh, operational from 1 May, with over 16,000 seats on sale for the season
- Olbia–Zurich, starting on 23 June, with about 18,000 places available
The main destinations served include London, Paris, Bordeaux, Nantes, Amsterdam and Berlin, as well as domestic flights to Milan Malpensa and Naples. easyJet's offer at Olbia airport covers the needs of a wide clientele, from leisure travel to cultural city breaks to business traffic.
