Air Arabia inaugurates new Sharjah-Krabi route

Daily direct connection between the United Arab Emirates and Thailand for leisure and business travellers. The flight joins Bangkok and Phuket, already served by the carrier from Sharjah airport

Air Arabia, the largest low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, has inaugurated the new daily direct flight between Sharjah and Krabi, expanding access from the Gulf area to one of Thailand's most popular beach destinations

With Krabi, which joins Bangkok and Phuket, Air Arabia's network from Sharjah becomes even more competitive and complete. Krabi is a destination famous for its spectacular landscapes: white beaches, coral reefs, hot springs, sea caves and iconic sunsets that attract Travellers from all over the world.

The airline operates the route with a modern fleet of Airbus A320s and A321s, among the best-performing single-aisle aircraft in the industry. On board, passengers can enjoy the free "SkyTime" digital services, the "SkyCafe" menu and the "Air Rewards" loyalty program, considered among the most generous in the region.

The inaugural flight took off on November 28, 2025 from Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) and was greeted upon arrival by His Excellency Phipat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand and Minister of Transport, along with representatives from Air Arabia and Krabi Airport.

With the introduction of this direct route, passengers departing from the UAE with Air Arabia can now reach one of Thailand's natural pearls with ease.
