Air Arabia doubles flights to the Maldives from Sharjah

From 27 October 2025, two daily connections between Sharjah and Malé to meet the growing demand for the tropical destination. On-board comfort, flexibility and digital services included

Air Arabia, the leading low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced an increase in the frequency of flights between Sharjah and the Maldives, bringing its schedule to two direct flights per day starting October 27, 2025.

The decision comes one year after the launch of the route from Sharjah International Airport to Velana International Airport in Malé, and aims to offer greater flexibility and connectivity to passengers heading to the Maldivian islands, one of the most popular destinations for leisure tourism.
