Air Arabia boosts flights between Sharjah and Phuket
Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost operator (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced an increase in the frequency of flights between Sharjah and Phuket. Starting December 15, 2025, the airline will operate three daily flights between the two cities from Sharjah International Airport (SHJ).
The expansion responds to the strong and growing demand for travel to Phuket, one of Thailand's most popular tourist destinations. In addition to Phuket, the airline also operates direct flights from Sharjah to Bangkok and Krabi, strengthening its network coverage in Thailand.
Air Arabia operates a modern fleet of 83 Airbus A320s and A321s, the world's best-selling single-aisle aircraft. The airline offers passengers: "SkyTime" (in-flight streaming service), "SkyCafe" (in-flight menu) and "Air Rewards" (loyalty program).
