The airline boosts its operations at Rome Fiumicino Airport starting June 1, 2025
Emirates has announced the resumption of the third daily flight on the Dubai-Rome route, starting from 1 June 2025, significantly increasing its presence at Rome Fiumicino Airport. This new flight will offer more than 2,530 additional weekly seats, meeting the growing demand for travel between the two cities and providing passengers with greater flexibility in planning their travels.
Flight EK099, operated by a modern Boeing 777-300ER, will depart Dubai daily at 03:30, arriving in Rome at 07:40. The return flight, EK100, will depart Rome at 11:30 a.m., arriving in Dubai at 7:20 p.m. (local time).
Connections via Dubai
This new frequency offers an enhanced connection to other popular international destinations in Emirates' network, including Bangkok, Melbourne, Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Karachi and other major cities in Asia and the Indian Ocean, expanding travel options for passengers heading to these locations.
A premium flight experience with Emirates
The additional flight will be operated in a configuration that includes 8 private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class and 310 comfortable seats in Economy Class. Passengers of all classes will be able to enjoy Emirates' renowned service, which includes high-quality products both on board and on the ground. The gastronomic offer will be inspired by Italian cuisine, with dishes prepared with fresh and selected ingredients, such as seafood, the typical Sardinian fregola with tomato sauce and the classic coffee affogato.
In addition, passengers will be able to enjoy Emirates' ice entertainment system, which offers over 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment in more than 40 languages, including a wide selection of Italian films and documentaries, as well as a rich offering of Hollywood content, all with Italian subtitles.
Emirates and Italy: a bond that has lasted for over 30 years
Emirates has a long tradition in Italy, having launched its service to Rome in 1992. Today, the airline also serves Milan, Venice and Bologna, with a total of 42 weekly flights between Dubai and these important Italian cities. Emirates operates a mix of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft and, in the coming months, will welcome the Airbus A350 on flights to Bologna, further enriching its offering.
In addition to being a reference company in the international skies, Emirates is also deeply involved in the Italian sports scene. His support of AC Milan since 2007 and his presence at prestigious events such as the Internazionali BNL d'Italia and the Nitto ATP Finals are testaments to his commitment to promoting sport and connecting people globally.
