Swiss doubles connections from Zurich to Delhi
SWISS will continue to operate two daily connections between Zurich and Delhi up to and including 11 July 2026, thus expanding the offer between Switzerland and India in June and the first weeks of July.
In addition to the usual daily flight, the company maintains a second direct service per day, operated with Airbus A330s. The decision follows what already happened in April and May and responds to the increase in demand for non-stop flights between Europe and Asia.
According to SWISS, many passengers who had booked with other airlines are currently unable to travel on their planned flights with a stopover in the Gulf region. This is prompting an increasing number of Travellers to choose direct connections, with demand particularly strong on non-stop routes between Europe and India.
For passengers, the double daily flight therefore offers greater availability of seats and a wider choice of times to reach Delhi without intermediate transits.
The additional daily flights are:
- LX2646: Departure from Zurich at 12:35, arrival in Delhi at 00:00.
- LX2647: Departure from Delhi at 01:40, arrival in Zurich at 07:00.
Regular daily flights remain:
- LX146: Departure from Zurich at 12:10 PM, arrival in Delhi at 11:35 PM.
- LX147: Departure from Delhi at 01:05, arrival in Zurich at 06:20.
SWISS flights are available for booking now, while the airline continues to monitor the evolving situation in the Middle East to decide how to deploy aircraft and available capacity to destinations where demand remains highest. The company's valuations also include operational aspects such as airport slots, traffic rights and fleet availability.
