The daily flight restores connectivity between a major African city and Dubai, facilitating premium, seamless travel to destinations in Europe, the United States, the Far East and the Middle East
Emirates flies from Dubai to Lagos in Nigeria. Flight EK783 departs Dubai at 09:45 and arrives in Lagos at 15:20, while return flight EK784 takes off from Lagos at 17:30 and lands in Dubai at 05:10 the following day. This connection has been designed to optimize connection times with other strategic destinations, making both business and leisure travel to and from Nigeria easier.
The return of flights to Lagos confirms Emirates' commitment to supporting global trade and enhancing economic ties between the UAE and Nigeria, one of Africa's largest economic hubs. In addition, Emirates SkyCargo will offer over 300 tonnes of cargo capacity each week, supporting the export of goods such as kola nuts, food and urgent materials to key markets such as the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong and Bahrain. Imports to Nigeria will include pharmaceuticals, electronics and general goods.
Dubai-Lagos flights are operated by the Boeing 777-300ER, which offers eight first-class suites, 42 seats in Business Class and 304 seats in Economy. Emirates, one of the few airlines to offer First Class on the route, guarantees passengers a luxury experience with exclusive services, fine gastronomy and entertainment screens among the largest in the industry.
Passengers will be able to enjoy multi-course menus inspired by regional cuisine, accompanied by a wide selection of premium beverages and will have access to over 6,500 entertainment channels through the award-winning ice system, which also includes a selection of Nigerian films and series. In addition, the company facilitates the application for 48 or 96-hour visas to visit Dubai. As flights resume, Emirates has also restored the previous status levels for Skywards loyalty programme members, ensuring the continuity of the benefits accrued over time.
