Emirates redefines rest in First Class

New sleepwear, hotel-inspired nighttime service and a revamped A380 Shower Spa for long-haul flights

Starting in December, Emirates is taking the First Class travel experience even further, introducing a true sleep ritual designed to provide comfort, privacy and well-being on board. The initiative involves new generation sleepwear , premium on-board linen , dedicated turndown service and a multisensory experience that accompanies the passenger from pre-sleep relaxation to waking up at altitude.

On selected long-haul flights , First Class passengers receive new sleepwear, slippers and eye masks made in high quality, with traceable plant fibres from sustainably grown beech trees. The fabric, light and thermoregulating, is designed to promote a deep rest. The two-piece design, with a soft and elegant fit, is designed for both relaxing in the A380 onboard lounge and sleeping in Emirates' fully enclosed suites. The shades vary from powder pink and light gray for the women's set to two-tone grays for the men's.

The sleeping experience will be further enriched from 2026 with the introduction of 300-thread-count cotton bedding, including mattress topper, duvet and pillows. An upgrade designed to enhance the First Class suites, equipped with full-flat seating and automatic doors that guarantee the highest level of privacy.

A distinctive element is the turndown service, inspired by the hospitality of a five-star hotel: the bed is carefully prepared, accompanied by a personalized wellness card, Byredo's Chamomile Pillow Mist and a refined gourmet chocolate selected from houses of excellence such as Valrhona, Canonica, Coco Jalila and Neuhaus.

On the Airbus A380, the iconic Shower Spa is presented with a renewed design and enriched by the new collection of products from the Irish brand Voya. The two lines (Tranquillity with lavender and eucalyptus and Revitalise with notes of honeysuckle and neroli) include shampoo, conditioner, cleansers and body creams, completing an exclusive wellness experience at 40,000 feet.

To complete the sensory journey, Emirates is introducing new crystal glasses for beverage service in First Class, designed for premium cocktails, selected spirits and iced coffees. Among the novelties there is also a balloon glass dedicated to Hennessy Paradis cognac and Tesseron brandy.

Finally, from 2026, the new generation of Bowers & Wilkins E2 earmuffs will make its debut, custom-designed for First Class suites. Optimised for long-haul comfort, they offer advanced active noise cancellation and full integration with the ice in-flight entertainment system, confirming Emirates' commitment to delivering a flight experience that combines luxury, technology and attention to detail.
