Air France launches a new line of luggage
Air France and Delsey Paris are expanding their collaboration with "Elegance", a new comprehensive collection of suitcases and travel accessories designed to accompany passengers every step of the way, from hand luggage to longer journeys. After the previous "New Envol" and "Allure" lines, the new range focuses on a sober and contemporary aesthetic, with clean lines, accurate finishes and functional solutions for different types of travel.
The suitcases in the collection are made with a lightweight and resistant polycarbonate shell and feature a scratch-resistant satin twill finish, designed to combine elegance, robustness and durability. All models have expandable capacity, internal dividers with zippers and a removable, washable inner lining made from recycled materials.
On the convenience front, the range incorporates the patented SECURITECH® hinge, a TSA-approved lock and four silent double wheels, designed to make it easier to move around the airport and while travelling. The available colors are black, navy blue and ivory.
For those traveling by plane, the 55 cm cabin suitcase is offered in two versions. The first is designed to offer an intuitive internal layout, useful for keeping personal belongings well organized. The second, called the "Business" model, adds a front compartment dedicated to laptops, tablets and other essentials, so as to make it easier to access devices during security checks without having to open the entire suitcase. This model also includes a Bluetooth locator slot.
The hold line maintains the same approach oriented towards comfort and functionality. An overload indicator integrated into the handle helps to adjust the contents before departure. The available sizes are 66 cm and 75.5 cm, both expandable, to meet different travel needs.
The luggage collection is covered by a 10-year warranty and includes three sizes: cabin 55 x 35 x 23/25 cm, hold 66 x 44 x 29.5/32.5 cm and hold 75.5 x 50 x 33/36 cm. Prices start at 249 euros including VAT.
For the first time, the Elegance line is also enriched with two backpacks and their cases, designed to complete the travel experience with a consistent style and functionality suitable for both daily commutes and short departures. The backpacks are made of 100% recycled polyester with durable, water-repellent fabric and feature a padded, breathable backrest, numerous internal and external pockets, a laptop compartment for laptops up to 14 inches and a loop for attaching to the trolley.
The first model, inspired by a tote bag in its design, is designed for everyday use and short trips, thanks to a wide opening that allows easy access to the main compartment. The second is designed to be stored under the seat of the plane, so as to keep essential items close at hand during the flight. It also includes an internal pocket with RFID protection for greater protection of personal data. The backpacks are available in navy blue, an exclusive Air France color, with a 5-year warranty. The dimensions are 41 x 36 x 17 cm (26 liters) and 40 x 30 x 20 cm (24 liters), with a price of 129 euros including VAT.
Rounding out the range is also a sturdy, durable and easy-to-maintain water-repellent clothing travel case, designed with a closure system that helps limit creases during transport. It is equipped with an integrated hook for easy hanging and is offered at 99 euros including VAT. Later, the collection will be further expanded with a protective suitcase cover and a cabin bag for small pets.
